In January 2015, the toll rates for trucks are expected to fall. The resulting lack of income should be compensated by extension of the truck toll to other four-lane federal roads. The corresponding draft bill will come into force on 1 July 2015. In addition, from 1 October 2015, the toll limit should be lowered to vehicles over 7.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight. These measures are intended to ensure the future financing of transport infrastructure, but also mean an additional burden for the transport sector.
